📝 Growing Notes

Kumquats are the most compact and cold-tolerant of all citrus and make excellent container plants or small-garden specimens. The entire fruit including the sweet peel is edible, making it uniquely versatile in the kitchen. Marigolds for nematode control and basil for aphid repellence are its most practical companion plants.
