📝 Growing Notes

Honeyberries are among the most cold-hardy fruiting shrubs available, thriving in zones 2–4 where few fruits grow reliably. They bloom very early in spring — before cherries — and require cross-pollination from a second unrelated variety. Strawberries and comfrey are excellent low-growing companions in honeyberry beds.
