📝 Growing Notes

Serviceberry is one of the first trees to bloom in spring, providing critical early nectar for pollinators when little else is flowering. It grows well alongside blueberries and other acid-loving plants in mixed berry plantings. Cedar-apple rust and fire blight are the main disease concerns; avoid planting near juniper species that host these pathogens.
