📝 Growing Notes
Blueberries have one of the most specific soil pH requirements of any fruiting plant — they absolutely require highly acidic soil between pH 4.0–5.0. They thrive alongside other acid-lovers like rhododendrons, azaleas, and heather. Pine trees are excellent companions as their needle drop naturally acidifies soil over time. Raspberries and alkaline-preferring plants are significant enemies.
