The most unfairly maligned native plant. Goldenrod does NOT cause allergies , its pollen is too heavy to become airborne. It's the invisible ragweed blooming nearby. Goldenrod is a late-season pollinator LIFELINE , when everything else is done, goldenrod feeds bees and butterflies preparing for winter.
